I’m Joseph Michael Wall, a 23-year-old songwriter from Keachi, Louisiana, and a self-defined Red Dirt Grunge artist.

My sound is built on Red Dirt country and folk songwriting, pushed through grunge grit and a little Southern doom/sludge weight, while keeping conventional song lengths and structures. Lyrically, I write about the things we carry with us—love, life, loss, mental health, where I grew up, and my faith in Jesus Christ. I play guitar, bass, banjo, and keyboards, and I program the drums and string sections on my recordings myself.
